The Reaper is the most recent addition to Final Fantasy 14. Endwalker allows players to play as these unique DPS fighters (if they can get into the game) who can use the souls of the slain to fuel their skills.
Fortunately, unlocking Reaper is just as simple as unlocking the other jobs in Final Fantasy XIV. However, there are a few requirements that must be met first. Here’s everything you need to know.
How to Unlock the Reaper Job Class in Final Fantasy 14?
In order to unlock the Reaper job in Final Fantasy XIV, players must first complete two objectives:
- Own the Endwalker expansion
- Reach level 70 in any Disciple of War or Magic job
Players should travel to Ul’dah – Steps of Nald and speak with the flustered attendant NPC directly east of the Chocobokeep once these requirements have been met. The quest “The Killer Instinct,” which begins the Reaper questline, can be picked up here.
The attendant will request that the player defend his employer from a group known as the Lemures, who are led by a serial killer known as the Reaper.
When the player digs deeper, they discover that the attendant’s boss, Jijilyo, owes the Lemures a debt for hiring them to scare away his rivals.
Instead of collecting the debt, the Reaper says that if the player comes to do some work for them, they’ll call the deal square. Jijilyo agrees, and the Reaper invites the player to come to their base of operations.
Drusilla, the Lemures’ leader, asks the player to find a voidsent. To do so, the player must first train as a Reaper. After the conversation with Drusilla is completed, the player can speak with her again to unlock the Reaper job in Final Fantasy XIV.
After agreeing to become a Reaper, the player can continue the job’s storyline by speaking with Drusilla. Because reapers begin at level 70, all of these quests can be completed in a single sitting rather than every five levels.
Well, that’s all we have here about how you can Unlock the Reaper Job Class in Final Fantasy 14. We hope this guide helped you.
