When Will Final Fantasy XIV be Available to Buy Again?
Square Enix stopped selling the Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition and Complete Edition, as well as the free trial, on December 15, 2021.
The game’s servers were overloaded due to the success of the recently released Endwalker expansion and a global chip shortage. Director Naoki Yoshida was willing to give up more game sales in exchange for better service to existing customers.
