How to Find and Farm Godbugs in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak?
Godbugs, unlike most insects, aren’t found on every map in Monster Hunter Rise’s base or Sunbreak’s packs. On the Frost Islands, for example, you won’t find a single one, and on the Sandy Plains, you’ll find exactly two. There are a total of six in the Jungle, but it can be difficult to collect them all.
The Flooded Forest is similarly difficult to navigate but has the highest concentration of Godbugs early in the game. As a result, your best location to find and farm Godbugs is the Shrine Ruins.
From camp, head north until you reach Zone 7, where you can pick up the Godbug from the fence to the left of the entrance. Follow the mountain trail to the west. Just ahead, on the right, is a one-way street that leads nowhere. Here, another Godbug has found a comfortable spot to rest.
Explore the interior of the mountains and head to the highest points in the northwest. Move down to one of the southwest-facing platforms. The final Godbug peak is located close to a Bonepile and Mining Outcrop.
Once the Godbugs of the mountains are gathered, you can travel north toward Zone 13 and then make a U-turn to head back toward the archway to the east of Zone 10. Go all the way up to Zone 12 in the north. If you still haven’t seen any respawned mountain bugs. At that point, you can begin the cycle again because things should have begun to regenerate.
Make sure to use the Argosy to your advantage in Godbug farming by devoting at least one Submarine slot to the task.
