What Does the Pokémon Go Blue Snowflake Symbol Mean?

Your Pokémon is a Purified Pokémon if it has a blue snowflake symbol next to it. The symbol itself represents Shadow Pokémon that have been purified, even if it doesn’t look like a snowflake.

If you haven’t played in a while, this may not mean much. Fortunately, it’s not difficult to comprehend. When you fight members of Team GO Rocket, you’ll come across Shadow Pokémon. Team GO Rocket will abandon a creature if you are victorious. You’ll have your own Shadow Pokémon if you fight it and catch it with Premier Balls.

You can always leave them alone after that and reap the benefits of the increased damage. During raids and gym battles, Shadow Pokémon deal 20% more damage and have a menacing appearance. They do, however, have a similarly weakened defence.

You won’t be able to unlearn the creature’s Frustration attack unless you meet certain requirements. As a result, the majority of players will choose to purify their catch. This increases the stats of the now Purified Pokémon while also lowering the Stardust and Candy requirements for powering up or evolutions.

Return, which can be unlearned with a Charged TM, will also replace the Frustration attack. The only catch is that purifying it will cost you a certain amount of Candy and Stardust. Any Pokémon that has been Purified will have a blue snowflake symbol next to it.

Or, at the very least, it resembles a snowflake; we’re not sure what it’s supposed to represent. Maybe a flash of light? In any case, the icon simply indicates that your Shadow Pokémon has evolved into a Purified Pokémon.
