There is a lot of information about Moongolow Stage in this guide for Vampire Survivors, including how to unlock the bonus stage, where to buy the Glass Vizard, and how to get to the second and more mysterious Relic in the stage.
On the Moonglow stage, the player can interact with and purchase items from an NPC. Two products are offered for sale by this NPC. The Glass Vizard is the first item on the list that you can get for 10,000g. All subsequent levels of the game will now have a shopkeeper available to them. It’s a Golden Egg that permanently raises a stat for the character you’re playing. The Golden Egg, unlike the other upgrades in the game, has no limit on how many times it can be purchased. In other words, as long as you have gold, you can keep leveling up your characters indefinitely. The ability to purchase items in-game makes Moonglow well worth unlocking, and while the path to this point can be difficult, you should be able to do it with enough patience.
How to Unlock the Moonglow Stage in Vampire Survivors
If you want to unlock the Moonglow Stage in Vampire Survivors, you need to unlock Hyper Mode for four normal stages. Players of Vampire Survivors currently only have four normal stages: the Mad Forest, the Inlaid Library, the Dairy Plant, and the Gallo Tower.
The boss-like enemy that appears around the 25-minute mark is the key to unlocking Hyper Mode. All of the bosses in the game are identifiable by their enormous size and enormous health reserves. You won’t be required to complete the stage if you defeat the boss, so don’t worry if you lose to the horde.
There is no need to defeat the four normal stage bosses again if you have already unlocked Hyper Mode for one or some of them. You’ll need to play through the game, exit, and return to the Stage Selection screen if you previously unlocked Hyper Mode for all four stages before the 0.6.1 patch.
There is a Merchant NPC in Moongolow, one of Vampire Survivors’ most distinctive stages, who sells the Glass Vizard Relic. If you’re a fan of collecting floor loot, this underwater-themed stage has all 16 Passive Items currently available in Vampire Survivors. The Items are arranged around the map in four groups of four, as shown in the image above.
