In Ramanas Park, you can find Ho-Oh as well as the other legendary Pokémon. Once you’ve completed the Sinnoh PokéDex and unlocked your National PokéDex, you can visit Ramanas Park.

Ramanas Park is a new location in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl that contains all of the legendary Pokémon. Using Mysterious Shards, you’ll need to purchase a specific slate.

Digging in the Grand Underground and playing the fossil digging minigame will yield Mysterious Shards. Small and large Mysterious Shards can be found. Collect the Diglett and Dugtrio in the Grand Underground to increase your chances of finding a Mysterious Shard in your fossil digging minigame.

The meter should be set between 35 and 40 points. Return to Ramanas Park to purchase the Rainbow Slate when you’re ready. For Ho-Oh, this is the one.

To buy the slate, you’ll need at least three small Mysterious Shards or a large Mysterious Shard. It’s worth noting that Ho-Oh is only available in Brilliant Diamond.

As a result, if you own the Pokémon Shining Pearl version, you won’t be able to use the Rainbow Slate.
