Gran Turismo 7 is set to be Polyphony Digital’s most ambitious game yet, with over 400 cars and a variety of modes to explore. Here are all of the modes for Gran Turismo 7 that PlayStation has listed in its dedicated State of Play page.
World Circuits
In this mode, you can race in 34 different locations around the world, with a total of 97 different layouts. They include songs from all over the world, including Japan, the United States, and European countries like the United Kingdom.
According to PlayStation, more cars and tracks will be added in future online updates. The Daytona International Speedway is also expected to attend the event.
Campaign
There will be a campaign in which you will unlock cars as you complete races. With the credits you earn from the game, you’ll buy an average car at first, but as you progress, you’ll gain access to more capable vehicles for your racing endeavors.
Throughout the adventure, you’ll be tuning and upgrading your rides. “Ultimately, this is the classic GP campaign mode,” PlayStation said, “but GT7 has more to offer.”
The Cafe
While staying at the cafe, you’ll be given a car collection menu, which you can complete by completing championships and races while exploring the resort. The car designers will give a presentation on how the vehicles came to be at various points throughout the game.

This mode provides a historical context to what you’re riding for car enthusiasts. Each of the game’s manufacturers has a museum that tells the story of how they got started. Used Car Dealer
You can buy cars for “affordable prices,” but some cars are now more expensive than when they were first released. According to the State of Play, Japanese sports cars from the 1990s are now more expensive than they have ever been.
“They’ve seen a big boom in popularity worldwide,” PlayStation says. Polyphony Digital appears to be keeping track of how much cars sell for, as it will be updated on a daily basis.
Legendary Car Dealership
This is the mode to use if you want to get some classic motors. These are legendary automobiles that can be purchased for a significant sum of money. Polyphony Digital is providing you with more historical context for the rides you’ll see in Gran Turismo 7.
Custom Race Mode and Circuit Experience Activity
There is a mode that can help you learn each track so you know how to best approach a difficult turn and when to use your vehicle’s power to propel yourself forward. To create “personalized races,” use the Custom Race Mode to play with AI and change the weather effects settings.
License Tests
Then there’s a training mode that puts you in a variety of difficult situations. They’re mini-time trials that award gold, silver, and bronze trophies based on how well you navigate the road. According to PlayStation, this is a great place to learn “driving techniques from the ground up.”
Mission Races
This mode introduces unique events that would otherwise go unnoticed. Drag racing, for example, is in this mode, and it puts players’ tuning skills and motor control to the test from the start. Drifting trials are also available.
Car Customization
With over 650 aerodynamic parts, 130 types of wheels, and over 1,200 paints, you can customize the look of any car. There’s a lot of room for customization here. If that wasn’t enough, the game also includes thousands of different customization parts.

If you have HDR enabled on your PS4 or PS5, all of the shots will be in HDR. Scapes also includes its own photo effects and editing software, allowing you to share your perfect shot with the rest of the world.
Showcase
In this mode, all players can share replays, photographs, and car designs. Any of these can be downloaded to your console.
