Crafting in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen

To be fair, Destiny 2 players are eager to see what the new expansion has in store for them. You’ll need to complete The Arrival quest to gain access to it. Ikora will give you the crafting quest when you return. On Mars, it is located close to Ikora.

It’s as simple as finding The Relic, which is where all crafting takes place, and interacting with it. Destiny 2’s Glaive, the game’s newest weapon, will serve as your first weapon crafting tutorial.

The Glaive you make is an Energy Weapon called the Enigma. Changing anything you don’t like after you’ve already specified your Glaive will cost you materials. Neutral Element and Resonant Alloy both come from vendors at the Tower, while Resonant Alloy is obtained through combat.

The Relic does not come with a plethora of weapons to craft or modifications to apply to your firearms.

Instead, you’ll have to hunt down guns with Resonance perks in order to unlock weapon patterns. During The Investigation quest, you will have the first opportunity to do so.

The Relic will issue you a quest requiring you to locate a Deepsight Resonance weapon. Once you have one, all you have to do is use it in battle to level it up so you can use it in crafting.

The Resonance weapons will give you the same bonuses no matter what level you choose for the campaign missions. That’s how you’ll be able to unlock more and more weapon patterns, allowing you to make new weapons and tweak the ones you already have.

That is how the crafting system in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen works. We hope this guide helps you to get patterns and create new weapons.
