Best LCMG Loadout in Battlefield 2042

At the time of writing this guide, Battlefield 2042 is in its beta form and the LCMG is a light machine gun that players have access to.

Unlike some of the other weapons, which require more intricate planning around the strengths and weaknesses of various attachments, the LCMG is simple.

Following are the attachments recommended by us:

  • Barrel – Armcom Tactical Muzzle Brake
  • Mount – Cobra Grip
  • Sight – Shan 2.5X
  • Stock – Standard Issue

Stats After Using the Attachments

  • Firepower – 56
  • Accuracy – 61
  • Range – 60
  • Handling – 42

Stock LCMG Stats Before the Attachments

  • Firepower – 56
  • Accuracy – 54
  • Range – 56
  • Handling – 44

Why Do We Consider this the Best LCMG Loadout in Battlefield 2042?

We only reduced handling by two points, which most players won’t notice when compared to the range and accuracy gains. The Anti-Material Rounds stock reduces handling by five points, but it’s only good for dealing damage to vehicles.

Depending on the player’s preferred playstyle, the LCMG pairs well with either Assault or Engineer specialists.

The grappling hook of the Assault Specialist can be used to close the distance and get into the thick of the action, while its passive helps to mitigate the weapon’s increased heaviness.

LCMG players, on the other hand, will place a greater emphasis on defending positions rather than attacking them when playing the Engineer.

When combined with a turret, the LCMG makes for a formidable defensive line. When other players deploy their own turrets, the Engineer’s passive increases the damage they deal.

In the gadget slot, the standard Engineer package includes a Recoilless M5. Because of its lock-on targeting, we recommend replacing it with the FXM-33 AA Missile for most players.

For more experienced players, the Recoilless M5 is the better option because it is not bound by a targeting system that can be exploited by those on the receiving end.
