V Rising Best Weapon Tier List

The weapons in Stunlock’s new vampire survival game, V Rising are organized in an unusual way.  Due to the fact that each weapon’s attack damage bonus is equal to that of every other weapon, you are free to use any weapon that best suits your playstyle in V Rising. This makes a lot of fans look out for V Rising best weapon tier list.

In V Rising, the best weapons aren’t always the ones that hit the hardest. Although a weapon’s abilities and field of effect are equally crucial, its attack speed should be given the most weight. A sword can hit perhaps twice or three times in the time it takes to reload your bolts, while a crossbow may be impressive and have a long-range.

It can take some time to find the right weapon for you, but we’ve made this tier list to make it easier. To help you choose which weapons to use on your quest to master Vampire power, we’ve listed the top weapons in V Rising and then broken down their damage stats and abilities.

Despite their best efforts, the developers are powerless to stop the emergence of a meta. The best weapons to use in V Rising are outlined in the following section. What is the Best Weapon in V Rising?

There are a total of 7 weapons in V Rising. Therefore, players can choose from six melee weapons and one long-range weapon. A basic attack and two skills specific to each weapon type are available to players.

Physical power is increased by all weapons in the same “tier” (e.g. bone or bronze weapons). This means that each weapon can be used in any situation. Some weapons, however, are more effective than others due to the different attack speeds, combos, and skills offered by the various weapon types.

Here’s our best weapon tier list for V Rising.

  1. Sword
  2. Spear
  3. Axes
  4. Mace
  5. Reaper
  6. Slasher
  7. Crossbow

We believe the Sword is the best weapon in V Rising at the moment courtesy of its excellent damage-per-second and powerful Shockwave and Whirlwind attacks. These abilities will help you to dodge and chase enemies dealing heavy damage alongside.

The Spear ranks second in our V Rising weapon tier list because it is the best at bursting down single targets. Similar to the Axes and Maces, the Reaper is a weapon that deals a decent amount of damage per strike, but it isn’t quite as powerful as the faster-moving weapons.

As for the Slasher, it’s fun to use because of its Camouflage skill, but it can’t compete with other melee weapons in terms of damage output. The Crossbow is the last weapon on the list, but it’s useful for long-distance shooting, but its other two abilities don’t give it the best shot at matching the other weapon types.

V Rising Best Weapon Tier List

As said earlier, each weapon in V Rising has its own unique skill. Swords, Axes, maces, Crossbow, and Spears all have a basic attack, but higher-tier versions of these weapons will have additional damage-dealing abilities. Each weapon type has its own set of special abilities, which we’ll go over in more detail below. Let’s start our best weapon tier list guide:

1. Sword

Sword is undoubtedly the best weapon in V Rising. Having a high attack speed makes the Sword ideal for builds that prioritize critical hits. While your dash is on cooldown, you can use Shockwave to avoid powerful attacks and deal significant damage to a single target. Whirlwind, a good AoE damage-dealer that also increases your movement speed for its duration, can be earned at the Copper tier of weapons. This adds even more mobility to the Sword’s skillset.

2. Spear

There isn’t much of an arc to the spear’s hitbox like there is with other weapons. Instead, the attacks are thrusts that can pierce through a line of enemies. With its Thousand Spears and Harpoon skills, it’s a great weapon for quickly destroying a single enemy and for hunting down other enemies.

2. Axes

Axes fall somewhere in the middle of the Sword and the Mace in terms of damage output and attack rate. In addition to the Frenzy, which provides an additional dash and an attack speed boost, the X-Strike provides an effective mid-range disabling attack against difficult foes.

3. Mace

The Mace in V Rising Mace may be a great weapon but it deals the biggest blows. Although its DPS is low, its damage per hit is extremely high. A great gap-closer, Crushing Blow skill deals high AoE damage while putting distance between you and an enemy, whereas Smack does the opposite.

4. Reaper

The Reaper is a powerful but time-consuming melee weapon that excels at dealing with undead foes. There is no gap-closing ability, but the Tendon Swing can deal 125 percent physical damage in a single strike, making the Re a lot more powerful than it appears to be. The Howling Reaper skill isn’t something I’m particularly excited about, because it’s so hit-or-miss in my experience.

5. Slasher

Despite its low damage output, the Slasher’s two skills provide a great deal of versatility. To avoid attacks while still dealing damage, Elusive Strike is a great choice, while Camouflage is an excellent choice for anyone who likes to sneak up on their opponents.

6. Crossbow

When you equip a Crossbow, you get a dedicated long-range weapon that can fire powerful bolts at a reasonable rate of fire. Shoot-reload-shoot is all there is to this game’s attack system. While Rain Of Bolts deals mediocre damage over a large area, Snapshot’s interrupt effect is useful against powerful enemies (and in PvP).

For both boss fights and PvP battles, having a single clan member stay at range and use a Crossbow is extremely helpful. In a one-on-one matchup, the Crossbow’s low DPS and reliance on precise aim make it a poor choice.

Weapon Combo Attack Speed Damage-Per-Second

Spear 40% / 40% / 50% 1.68s 77.38%

Slasher 27.5% / 27.5% / 35% 1.57s 57.32%
