How to Get Skill Points in Forza Horizon 5

While Skill Points are earned naturally in Forza Horizon 5, there is a quick way to farm them. Car Masteries require Skill Points to unlock, and they contain some extremely useful Perks such as XP, Super Wheelspins, Forzathon Points, and secret cars.

Forza Horizon 5 players could earn nearly 10 Skill Points per minute with the right vehicle and method. There is no cheating, but if players want to unlock useful Perks on a consistent basis, they must devote some of their playtime to farming points.

How to Get Skill Points in Forza Horizon 5?

In Forza Horizon 5, there is only one way to earn Skill Points: by accumulating and banking Skill Chains. Drifting, hitting objects, performing specific turns, and catching air can all be used to create Skill Chains. Drifting while smashing small objects is the best and safest way to build a Skill Chain.

Because players can only earn 10 Skill Points per Skill Chain, it’s best to bank the chain once it reaches 500,000. In Forza Horizon 5, players must stop earning points by coming to a complete stop without crashing in order to bank a Skill Chain. Although 500,000 may appear to be a large sum, players will only need to deposit around 63,000 if the correct car is chosen.

In the Car Masteries of some vehicles, there is a Perk that multiplies Skill Chains. The Hoonicorn Mustang is the best car to farm Skill Points in because it has the highest Skill Point multiplier of 8. It’s also one of Forza Horizon 5’s best Drift Cars, making it even better for Skill Point farming.

Making/downloading a drift tune for a car with an x8 Skill Multiplier unlocked and building up a 63,000 Skill Chain by drifting and hitting small objects and then banking it is the best way to farm Skill Points in Forza Horizon 5. Any area suitable for drifting, including Drift Zones in Forza Horizon 5, is preferred, as this is how a Skill Chain is built and maintained.

The airstrip in the La Selva region, in the southwestern part of the map, is one of the best places to farm Skill Points. It has a long runway with no traffic and plenty of small objects to collide with as you drift. In Forza Horizon 5, the fantastic Jaguar Sport XJR-15 is also available from a nearby barn find.

In Forza Horizon 5, the airstrip also hosts a Drag Race where players can show off their fastest drag cars, but this event can also be used to speed up Skill Point farming. Stop at the end of a Skill Chain’s event start point and click into it—-then exit without starting the race. Skill Chains will no longer take as long to bank as a result of this.

In just over a minute, you’ll have accumulated 10 Skill Points using this method. They can then be used to unlock Perks in any vehicle chosen by the player. In Forza Horizon 5, one of the best ways to spend the points is on cars with Super Wheelspins. Players have three chances to win rare cars, Credits, Car Horns, Cosmetic items, and Emotes with these spins.
