Despite the fact that the ‘T’ in TCG stands for trading, YuGiOh Master Duel does not allow players to trade cards with one another. Rather, you must purchase packs, decks, or play solo mode. How to Craft Cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel?
Before we get started, it’s important to note that the game allows you to make as many cards as you want, regardless of how many copies you already have.
However, because each card can only have three copies in a single deck, there’s no reason to make more copies of a card once you have three, or a “playset,” as the game’s players refer to it.
Furthermore, some cards are restricted (one per deck), semi-restricted (two per deck), or outright banned. You’ll be able to tell which cards belong to these groups because they’ll have a red circle on top of them with a number indicating how many you can use in a single deck.
The card is forbidden if it has a red circle with a line through it. You can collect them just like in real life, but they aren’t usable in regular competitions or ranked duels.
It’s time to get crafting now that you know the limitations of what you can put in your deck. To begin, go to the Deck menu from the main menu of the game.
This will bring up a list of all the decks you’ve built so far, as well as the option to build a new one. Whatever you do here, as long as you go into a deck-building screen, it doesn’t matter. You can do this by either opening an existing deck or choosing to build a new one.
On the right side of the screen, once you’re on the deck-building screen, you’ll see a list of every card.
You can either scroll through the list or use the search function in the upper right to find what you’re looking for. From the list, select the card you want to make and it will appear on the left side.
You’ll want to click the Generate button in the lower left once the card has been pulled up to the left side. This will open a window asking if you’re sure you want to make the card and how many of them you want to make. Your card will be created once you click the generate button.
In Master Duel, however, you may not always have the amount of CP required to craft specific cards. Return to the deck construction screen.
Choose a card from the list on the right that you already own this time. You’ll notice another button to the left of the Generate button that says Dismantle.
When you click that, a window will pop up asking you how many copies you want to dismantle. You can also earn CP by simply playing the game and using the Duel Pass.
It’s also worth noting that any card in the game can be created by dismantling three other cards of the same rarity.
If you have too many Dark Magicians but your favorite card is Blue-Eyes White Dragon, you can Dismantle three of them to build your favorite Dragon. This is one of the most important aspects of YuGiOh Master Duel that you should be aware of.
