You’re probably aware that Alexa can crack a joke. However, Amazon’s virtual assistant is well-versed in the year’s festivities and major events, so she can answer your questions and provide you with even more cringe-worthy (but still amusing) jokes for Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and other holidays. You can even switch Alexa’s voice to that of Santa Claus!
How to Change Alexa’s Voice to Santa Claus?
Amazon recently released a new voice for Alexa, allowing you to choose between female and male-sounding voices based on your preferences. “Alexa, change your voice,” all you have to say is “Alexa, change your voice.”
In the UK, at least, you’ll soon be able to change the wake word from Alexa to Ziggy. But, just in time for Christmas, there’s an unexpected bonus: you can change Alexa’s voice to that of Santa!
Simply say to Alexa, “Alexa, enable Hey Santa.” It’s a free Alexa ‘Skill,’ which means you won’t have to pay for it.
After that, you can use the Alexa or “Hey Santa” wake words interchangeably. Alexa will tell you it will take a moment to “get things set up.” When you forget you’ve changed the voice and say Alexa instead, this should help.
Surprisingly, Santa can answer most of the questions you’d ask Alexa, including timers, weather reports, math problems, and more.
He won’t set reminders or add ‘turkey’ to your shopping list because he can’t do everything. (Alternatively, you can ask Alexa to do those things for you.) Santa, on the other hand, will tell you jokes, the names of his reindeer, and a variety of other Christmas-related information.
But here are a few to get you started:
- Hey Santa, have I been naughty or nice?
- Hey Santa, please help me in getting the holiday season started.
- Hey Santa, sing We Wish You a Merry Christmas
- Hey Santa, sing the 12 Days of Christmas
- Hey Santa, sing Deck the Halls
Well, that’s all we have here about how you can change Alexa’s Voice to Santa Claus. We hope this guide helped you.
