There are a lot of sidequests in Dying Light 2 that you can control the outcome of. They won’t have the same game-changing impact as some pivotal decisions in the main story, but they will have a more personal impact. One of those decisions is to choose between killing the blackmailer or not.
In the Carriers questline, a recipient informs you that she is being blackmailed and requests that you deal with the man harassing her. So, in this section, we’ll talk about the options available in Carriers IV, the fourth part of this questline, and whether or not you should kill the blackmailer in Dying Light 2.
Should you Kill the Blackmailer in Carriers IV in Dying Light 2?
As suggested by the Survivor lady, a man has been blackmailing her, and she wants you to kill him. Aiden is caught in a conflict of interest because he is only a messenger and does not get involved in the customers’ affairs.
She will be irritated if you tell her “No way.” She’ll make you feel bad by accusing you of leaving her for dead. This option will complete the quest and return you to Driscoll for your next task.
If you choose “Agree to meet the blackmailer,” you’ll be given the task of tracking down this man to learn more about what’s going on. This does not imply that you will do her dirty work and murder him.
Do you Have the Money for the Blackmailer?
When you arrive at the blackmailer’s house, he’ll be surprised that you walked in without knocking. You confront him, accusing him of blackmailing the lady from earlier. He simply asks if you have the money without any further explanation.
If you give the money, he’ll be surprised that you’re assisting her. He’ll also say you’re disgusting and dishonorable, tarnishing the Carriers’ reputation. The mission comes to a close here, with you being directed back to Driscoll for your next task.
If you tell the blackmailer, “You get nothing,” you’re threatening him for extorting an elderly woman. The blackmailer is not amused by your words and strikes you with a sucker punch. This will start a fight with him, and you will eventually kill him.
Aiden will report to Driscoll with the same line regardless of your decision. “That was a thrilling experience.” “On top of that, it’s a mystery.” So you’ll either go through some dialogue and be told you’re a bad person, or you’ll kill the guy and get some money in either case.
Well, that’s all we have here about whether you should kill the Blackmailer in Carriers IV or not. We hope this guide helped you.
